Grand Rapids, MI (September 26, 2025) – Art Optical Contact Lens, Inc., a leading provider of custom contact lenses, in partnership with Contamac, has announced the recipients of its Specialty Contact Lens Travel Grants for the upcoming American Academy of Optometry (AAO) meeting in Boston. The program recognizes students, Cornea and Contact Lens Residents, and new OD’s who demonstrate innovative use of Art Optical lens designs to meet unique patient needs and provides financial support to further their professional growth.
Receiving travel grants are Dr. Brandon Merrill, Cornea & Contact Lens Resident at the University of Missouri Saint Louis College of Optometry; Sarah Goy, 4th Year student at the Chicago College of Optometry; Madeline Padron and Kylie Erickson, 4th Year students at MCPHS School of Optometry.
As dedicated supporters of optometric education, Art Optical and Contamac are pleased to present the travel grant opportunity to students, residents and young OD’s interested in specialty contact lens practice. Initiated in 2022, Art Optical has now recognized and rewarded 20 individuals with travel grants to attend specialty lens meetings.
