The addition of a microvault to the Ampleye profile will allow practitioners to precisely accommodate for the presence of scleral irregularities (i.e. filtering blebs, pingueculae, etc.) Based on the estimated width (mm) and height (um) of the scleral elevation, the microvault can be customized and placed at any point, 360 degrees, along the edge of the lens. The microvault generates an area of lift that is specific to the unique contour of the patient’s sclera creating a uniform landing.
