Our Consultation Manager, Bethany Peebles, has earned fellowship status in the American Academy of Optometry!
The FAAO designation is a significant accomplishment that requires EXTENSIVE work & preparation – including several published case reports and scientific publications, an original 6,000 word paper, and sitting for an oral exam at the American Academy of Optometry meeting. Bethany completed all requirements and successfully passed the rigorous oral exam at the AAO Meeting in San Antonio.
“In qualifying for and maintaining fellowship, individuals are evaluated against the highest standards of professional competence. The letters “FAAO” after an optometrist’s, scientist’s or other qualified person’s name signify to colleagues and patients that rigorous qualifications for fellowship have been met.”
